JENNIFER DAVIS, M.S., CCC-SLP
Jenn is entering her 12th year as a certified clinical competence (CCC) SLP in the state of Texas! She graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2013 with her Masters of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology and earned her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Communication from Texas A&M University in 2009. Jenn has worked with the pediatric population throughout her career in the private clinic, home health, and school settings. Jenn is married to Trent who works for the Waco Fire Department and they have twin daughters, Harper & Emerson and a son, Carter. Jenn enjoys running, reading and being outside with her family!
Starting SONshine Pediatric Therapy has been a dream of hers and she is beyond excited to see how the Lord uses this company to bless the families of China Spring and the surrounding areas!
Jenn graduated Magna Cum Laude from TTUHSC & TAMU. She maintains her CEUs for her state and national licenses annually and is a member of the Texas Speech & Hearing Association (TSHA) and American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She was awarded Faculty Member of the Month (March 2023) at China Spring ISD. She also volunteers her time as a coach for CSYAA and as a youth leader at OGBC.
Laura is a huge blessing to our SONshine team and works diligently to help with any and all insurance inquiries. We are beyond grateful to have her as part of our team!
ADMINISTRATION & INSURANCE MANAGER
Laura Burris
Laura Burris is excited to join the SONshine Pediatric Team as the Administration and Insurance Manager! Laura graduated from Dental Assisting school 2006 and worked as dental assistant for 3 years. She then moved to front office at the dental clinic and has learned the world of insurance claims. She currently works as the treatment coordinator and Insurance/billing manager for Saddle Creek Dental since 2020.
Laura is married and has three children who attend Bosqueville ISD. They are big in their Bulldog community and cherish the small town school! The Burris family lives on a ranch in Aquilla with cattle, chickens, and pigs! Laura loves serving her church through youth ministry and enjoys hiking and traveling with her family.
Stephanie is a huge blessing to our SONshine team and has a heart of gold! We are beyond grateful for her!

Stephanie Habermann, M.S., CCC-SLP
Stephanie is thrilled to be joining the SONshine team as a PRN SLP! Stephanie earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC‑SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. With 31 years of experience, Stephanie has worked extensively with pediatric populations in home health, private practice, and school settings. She is deeply committed to helping children develop strong communication skills and empowering families to support their children in reaching their full potential.
She is married to John, a civil engineer at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute. Her daughter, Holli, and son-in-law, Carter, are both registered nurses and graduates of Texas Tech University. Her son, Joseph, recently graduated from China Spring High School and is now studying at Tarleton State University. Stephanie enjoys photography and loves spending time with her family, whether on a beach or in the mountains. She also serves in the children’s and women’s ministries at Wellspring Church.
